Competition Team ‘25-’26

We’re so excited to announce that competition team auditions are right around the corner! Joining the HOD comp team is an incredible opportunity for dancers who are eager to challenge themselves, grow their skills, and experience the thrill of performing on stage at a higher level. In this post, you’ll find everything you need to know about audition dates, pricing, and what it means to be part of our competition team. Whether your dancer is new to the competition world or ready to level up, this guide will help you prepare for an exciting season ahead!

Auditions:

Ages 7-11: September 9th, 6:30-7:30pm

Ages 12+: September 11th, 7:30-8:30pm

Dancers must wear a black leotard, black shorts, nude/pink tights, jazz shoes, and hair in a bun.

Dancers must sign up for auditions at the front desk or by emailing rachael@houseofdancestudios.com

Competitions we plan to attend:

Turn It Up Dance Challenge | March 13th-15th

Rainbow Dance Competition | April 10th-12th

Team Dues & Entry Fees

This year we will be incorporating team conditioning and technique training into your dancer’s regular weekly schedule. Competition Rehearsals will be limited to mainly choreography. This will allow us to lower team fees for this competition season.

HOD Team Dues: $55-75/mo, September-March

HOD Team Dues do not include entry fees or costume fees

Entry Fees: Competition entry fees will vary depending on each competition. Here is what to expect:  

Solos: $130-$190 Per Entry

Duets/Trios: $80-$93 Per Dancer

Groups: $70-$90 Per Dancer

Costume fees can range from $60-$90 per costume.
